Second Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting of 5-Year-Old Boy on Richmond Avenue

HOUSTON, TX, August 17, 2023 – Charges have been filed against a second suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a 5-year-old boy, Jordan Allen, Jr., at 8155 Richmond Avenue on March 31, 2020.

The latest suspect, Alexis Moshae Gore, 25, has been charged with murder in the 177th State District Court. She was arrested on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, and admitted to investigators her involvement in the incident. Another suspect, Shapree Monique Stoneham, 30, was previously arrested on August 13, 2021, and charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court.

The victim was standing on a second-story apartment balcony when he was shot in the head. He was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on April 3, 2020. Initial investigation led to the identification of Stoneham as a suspect, who appears to have fired a gunshot from nearby, striking the victim with no known relation.
