Used Car Salesman in Custody for False Statement to Obtain Credit and Forgery

HOUSTON, TX, August 17, 2023 – An adult male suspect, identified as a used car salesman, has been taken into custody in the 9300 block of Alberene Drive by Sergeant Pleytez with Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

The charges against the suspect include false statement to obtain credit and forgery. These charges stem from an investigation into the fraudulent sale of a $30,000 automobile from a dealership located at 11000 Huffmeister Road.

The Constable’s office has commended the officers involved in the arrest, highlighting the significant effort put forth to bring the suspect to justice.
