Charges Filed Against Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting of Man at 3700 Tierwester Street

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 20 – Edward Domon Brown, 44, has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Horatio Rodriguez Harris, 37, which occurred at 3700 Tierwester Street around 12:40 p.m. on August 17. Brown is not in custody.

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Harris unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased. The suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle immediately after the shooting.

A preliminary investigation indicated that Harris and the suspect knew each other and had engaged in recent arguments.

Further investigation identified Brown as the suspect in this case, and he was subsequently charged on August 19.
