Charges Filed Against Suspect Wanted in Shooting of Woman at 10751 Meadowglen Lane

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 20 – Victoria Lashaye Frohm, 22, has been charged with aggravated assault of a family member and assault of a family member impeding breath in the 176th State District Court. She is not in custody, and a 2022 booking photo of Frohm has been released.

The 20-year-old victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition after being shot in the leg by her ex-girlfriend, Frohm.

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address, where they learned that the victim and Frohm had argued and ended their relationship over the phone. Frohm later arrived at the victim’s apartment, and after another argument turned physical, she impeded the breath of the victim and fired a shot, striking the victim. Frohm left the location, possibly driving a dark blue 2021 Volkswagen Passat.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and two felony charges were accepted and filed on Frohm.
