Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting of Man at 9707 Braeburn Glen Boulevard

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 20 – Michael E. Davis, 43, has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Steven Davis, 33, found at 9707 Braeburn Glen Boulevard around 9:40 p.m. on September 12, 2022.

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and discovered an unresponsive male, later identified as Mr. Steven Davis, lying on the side of the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

A witness reported seeing a white newer-model Jeep Renegade fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed immediately after the shooting.

Further investigation identified Michael Davis as a suspect in this case. Davis was arrested without incident on August 18 and booked into the Harris County Jail.
