Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of Woman at 10200 West Bellfort Boulevard

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 20 – Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman found at 10200 West Bellfort Boulevard around 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 19. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD patrol officers responded to a deceased person/welfare check call at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon entry into the apartment, officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics found the unresponsive woman with at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the woman deceased.
