Fatal Shooting at Lupe Tortilla Parking Lot Under Investigation

HOUSTON, TX – August 22, 2023 – HPD Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the parking lot of Lupe Tortilla at 318 Stafford Street.

According to preliminary information, two males engaged in a gunfire exchange around 3:30 p.m. One male was killed in the incident.

Details surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, and authorities are working to uncover the motive and circumstances that led to this deadly confrontation.
