Adult Cyclist Sustains Non-Life-Threatening Injuries in Wilderness Rescue on Pleasant Valley Greenbelt Trail

AUSTIN, Texas, September 1, 2023 – Emergency services responded to a reported adult patient who fell from a bike, sustaining a traumatic injury on a greenbelt trail located between the 500 and 1000 blocks of Pleasant Valley. The incident, which occurred near the Lakeshore cross-street at 09:26, saw a joint response from Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) and the Austin Fire Department.

The adult patient has been transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. ATCEMS has cleared the scene and no further information is available at this time.
